Make Your Own Wipe Solution

Wipe solutions are so easy to make and save money! Use them for cleaning sticky hands and faces dirty and messy floors. Unlike commercial wipes, these recipes do not contain alcohol or chemicals, and smell good. Use these recipes on cloth wipes or make your own disposable wipes and save even more money! For the one-wipes, paper towels more 'high quality half or leave whole for full size wipes.

Many cleaning solution recipes contain similar main ingredients, which are used for the same reason in each recipe. These are common ingredients and why they contain:


Oil: Helps the wipe glide across baby's skin and keeps skin soft
Soap cleans, removing all traces of urine and faeces
EO (Essential Oil) Added for antibacterial and / or aromatherapy.
Water: The main ingredient in each recipe, cleanses the diaper areadiluted and the other ingredients

The type and quantity of oil, soap, water and EO, is a recipe that goes into what gives each painting its own distinct solution "personality." Have fun trying different recipes until you find what you feel is better!

How to use cloth Solutions

When mixing the solution that works best with oil from the start and end with water. The oil will coat your measuring tools so the soap slips right. Be sure to add the water slowly or youend up with a ton of bubbles! Most often it is easier to clean gently agitate the solution in a bottle with a lid, then pour in the tank.

There are many different ways to store and implement solutions to clean your clothes, try some of the following ideas for the family to see which works best for you. You may find that a system works great and works great at home away from home. Here are some ideas to get started:


Use a spray bottle ofspray or wipes background of the child. (For convenience, we prefer the baby wipes syringes)
Use a pull-up spout (like on the bottles of bottled water) bottle to dribble a solution on the cloth.
Solution and in an insulated container to provide warm warm blankets for children.
Put the solution into a container for children and commercial diving wet wipes in the solution.

Do not store wet wipes or a solution to long because mold can grow stale and wet wipes can also be - ewww! Check your solution and wet wipes daily, and mix small amounts of solution frequently instead of large batches less often to avoid mold.We mix fresh solution once a week, store it in a bottle, water bottle, and had no problems with mildew.

Cloth Solution Recipes

'N Almond' Chamomile

Steep tea bag in hot water then add the oil.

2 chamomile tea bags

2 teaspoon almond oil

2 cups hot water

Anti-fungal

Omit vinegar if baby has a rash ingredients.

04:01 cup white vinegar

1 tablespoon calendula oil

A few drops of lavender oil

AA few drops of tea tree oil

04:01 Cup of 100% aloe vera gel

1 cup water

Anti-fungal Too

As with other anti-fungal formula, but less water and vinegar.

1 teaspoon white wine vinegar

1 tablespoon calendula oil

A few drops of lavender oil

A few drops of tea tree oil

Basic Wipe Solution

This basic recipe can be adjusted by changing the type of soap or oil.

Solution Castile

Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap is available in several delicious flavors!

1 tablespoon almond, apricot, oil or other

1 tablespoon liquid Castile Soap Dr. Bronner's

2 drops of tea tree oil

1 drop of lavender oil

1 cup water

'Camomile N' Honey

Brew the tea, add honey and drink the leftovers!

1 bag of chamomile

1 teaspoon honey

1 cup boiling water

'Fruit N' Veggie

Dr. Bronner's soap are often found in organic markets.

1 teaspoon fruit or vegetable based oil (apricot,Olive oil, grape seed oil, etc.)

1 tablespoon vegetable oil-based SOAP (like Dr. Bronner's liquid Castile)
1 teaspoon of 100% Aloe Vera Gel

1 cup water

Just One

Only a "little" of each ingredient in this recipe.

1 bag of chamomile

1 teaspoon oil

1 teaspoon baby bath or shampoo

1 drop of lavender oil

1 cup hot water

'N Lavender' Tea Tree

Lavender and tea tree oil are popular choices for clean EO solutions.

Lanolin and glycerine

Lanolin and glycerine moisturize without oil.

1 tablespoon liquid glycerin

4.1 teaspoon liquid lanolin (100% pure)

Lotion Potion

Baby Lotion contains further softening power of this solution.

1 tablespoon baby oil

Baby shampoo works as well as baby wash.

2 teaspoons of baby shampoo

This recipe is based on the EO to cleanse, instead of soap.

1-2 drops of tea tree oil

1-2 drops of lavender oil

Zany Apricot Solution

One of ourFavorites, apricot oil smells heavenly!

1 tablespoon oil

1 tablespoon unscented baby wash

3 cups water

Zany Lavender Solution

Our other favorite is the lavender calming for us and our son.

1 tablespoon baby oil

1 tablespoon lavender baby wash

2-3 drops of lavender oil

3 cups water
